Exercises
The list of exercises listed in this website is not specific to athletics training/exercise routines. The list is rather general in nature aiming to assist in strengthening specific parts of our anatomy. The idea is to assist new comers or seasoned athletes/runners to:
- be more efficient in their running
- increase endurance and reduce fatigue
- reduce risk of injuries
- be more agile
- run faster....
The exercises/training program is developed by the coach and an exercises specialist ( refer to Training Program and Philosophy section )and targets specific needs for each athlete.
Specificity is the principle of training that states that sports training should be relevant and appropriate to the sport for which the individual is training in order to produce a training effect. The Specificity Principle simply states that training must go from highly general training to highly specific training. The principle of Specificity also implies that to become better at a particular exercise or skill, you must perform that exercise or skill.
